The Oast Golf Centre was opened in 1989. Since then it has grown steadily, and what began exclusively as a Golf Driving Range is now a Golf Centre offering a Par 3 Approach Course, Putting Green, Golf Tuition, well stocked Golf Shop, and fully Licensed Bar. In addition we have a full size Pool Table and Short Mat Bowls.

The Par 3 Approach course has 18 tee positions playing to 9 greens. This provides an excellent opportunity for golfers of all abilities to practise and improve their golf.

The Oast house itself is an original building dating back to 1850 with the characteristic Oasts. It features two wind vanes shaped as Male and Female Golfers. The oak timber beams and old brick walls make the bar an ideal setting to relax after a round of golf or a hard day at work.

We now have an active Society, the Oast Golf Society (O.G.S). Run by an elected committee, they hold regular competitions social events and away Days. The annual membership fee is only £10.00 and Society Members enjoy a 10% discount on items over £10 in the Golf Shop.

The Oast is a friendly family venue, open to everyone. To this end we offer children free tuition on Saturday mornings to encourage our future golfers.
